I still haven’t decided if I’m super excited or incredibly sad.
Sure I love cosy evenings, lighting candles and drinking tea, but do I love it more than the summer sunshine and tanned skin? Probably not.
One thing I have been enjoying so far is the wardrobe switch over and adding new staples to my wardrobe. Here’s my current Wishlist
The Perfect Boot I don’t know where to find it, if I’m honest I’m not even too sure I know what I’m looking for but I know I want them to be black with small heel and of course, comfortable. I want to be able to wear them with jeans and dress and probably be leather rather than suede, since it’ll probably rain all autumn and winter in London
A teddy coat They jut look so comfortable, cosy and relaxed! I also love that they’re typically a lighter colour which I don’t really have in coats and I think it would be a great addition to my wardrobe.
Fur Coat I’ve always wanted a great (Faux- of course) fur coat and although I have a nice leopard print one I want one I can really dress both up and down. I keep spotting one pop up on the high street but they sell out really quickly so I think I really need to commit and buy the next nice one I can get my hands on.
Red Blazer Red is the colour of the season and blazers are the must-have items of the season so naturally I need a red blazer.
Slogan T-shirt I’m quite late to the slogan tee trend but now that I have a few blazers I really want to make them look a little more casual and think a slogan tee is just the perfect way. There are some great affordable ones on the high-street but they sell out so quickly that I’m usually just a little too late.
Perfect layering necklaces I love accessories, especially jewellery and even more so gold jewellery. I’m keeping my outfits quite minimalist at the moment, nothing too bright or fussy but really love that look teamed with a few gold necklaces. I’ve got my eye on a few Missoma pieces but they’re so popular at the moment that I fear I’ll be bored of it in a few weeks.
Mid Wash Jeans I’m so bored of black jeans and the jeans I wore throughout summer are a tiny bit too light so I’m after a great pair of highwaisted mid-wash jeans. ASOS Farleighs are the one I am after but apparently so is everyone else as they’re always sold out!
Turtle Neck I think it’s finally the year I do turtle necks. I’m no overly comfortable in them but there so chic that I really think it’s time I get comfortable in them, Primark have some great ones in but I’m looking for one I can keep for the next ten years as they’re so timeless so I’m happy to invest a little more in one.
What’s on your autumn Wishlist?
I love the idea of pairing a t-shirt with a blazer to keep things looking casual, I might experiment with this myself!
