With Summer coming to a close and Autumn officially starting today I thought I would share a few of my current beauty favourites. These have been great summer staples which I will be carrying into autumn.
L’Oreal Elvive Colour Protect Purple Shampoo- Available here
I’ve never really used purple shampoo in the past as although I’ve had highlighted hair for a while, I’ve never had enough highlights that tone has been a major issue. However with me being blonder than ever, and with the water in our house in Portugal (where I was lucky enough to spend much of August) having a habit to turn hair very yellow, I thought I would give the new L’Oreal Purple Shampoo a go and I have loved it! The L’Oreal Elvive range has to be one of my favourites on the market and the purple version didn’t disappoint. Honestly, I’m tempted to go less blonde but if I do stay this colour I’m sure I’ll be using this shampoo for a while and have recommended it to lots of my friends!

Glossier Cloud Paint is probably one of my all time favourite blushers, and the shade Dawn is just dreamy. I love it on the cheek, lips and even a touch on my nose. Its a bright orange shade and a little goes a long way but I love it!
Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel – Available here
I’ve been using these on and off for a while and I love them although they are pricey. I use them a couple of times a week or when my skin needs a pick me up but always make sure to be extra careful with sunscreen when using these. There are a cocktail of lots of different acids which help reduce pores, fine line and improve brightness but they can even be used on sensitive skin! That said, I do think I sometimes over use them and they can leave my skin a little dry, there’s a fine line with these, but when on the correct side of the fine line they’re great!
Garnier Hydrating Face Suncream SPF 50 Mist – Available here
I always use SPF 50 in the morning on my face but especially in summer I want something to top up with throughout the day. There are a few different spray option which I love as they can be used over your makeup but this one is great as it’s also super affordable. I actually really like the whole Garnier Sun care range and it was one of my go-to’s this summer.

I’ve said before that I don’t have a holy grail moisturiser- I can tell you what mascara I love or which face cleanser I can’t live without but for moisturiser I have always felt that I’ve never really found a good one until now. If you have dry or dehydrated skin and you want something that will really hydrate and even leave your skin looking dewy without making it greasy then I think this is the product for you. I wear it under makeup and find it makes my makeup sit much better than any other moisturiser!
