Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Rose & Lavender Review

The Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot cloth Cleanser is a beauty classic, you can’t love beauty and not have heard about how amazing it is. It was the cleanser that first got me interested in skincare so I was very excitied to hear about their new limited edition Lavender & Rose cleanser for the Prince’s Trust.

It isn’t much different to the original other than containing some Rose and Lavender oil which offers a calming and relaxing scent. This limited edition packaging is really pretty, it is still a pump bottle like the original and has a similar design to the original on the front of the bottle as it is quite simple however unlike the original it has a purple and pink pattern.

I haven’t reviewed the Original Cleanse & Polish in a very long time so I think a little extra information is needed. It is a two step process first you smooth the cleanser over your skin and then remove it (and your makeup) with a warm muslin damp muslin cloth which also helps exfoliate the skin. I love the original as it removes all my makeup quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft and looking radiant.

The limited edition Rose & Lavender is largely the same as the original other than the scent. It smells floral and lets off a soothing scent which is perfect before bed. It works just as well as the Original so I would say you should pick which ever you prefer the scent of. Although the scent of the Rose & Lavender one is really nice I personally still prefer the original although I love that a pound from ever sale of the limited edition one goes to charity.

The Limited Edition Cleanse & Polish Rose & Lavender retails for £19.75 for 150ml and will be available from the 6th September

I'm intrigued to try this, I used the normal Cleanse & Polish which I liked but didn't really like the scent. I'd like to try this to see what this smells like.

That sounds lovely. Big fan of anything rose scented, always reminds me of Turkish Delight. Yum! x
