Nails inc. Magnetic Polish

Magnetic nail polishes seem to be the next trend now that crackle nail polish isn’t quite as popular and I have already spoken about the FashionistA Magnetism Nail polishes (here)

I was recently invited down to Nail Inc and got my nails painted in the New Magnetic Nail Polishes Houses of Parliament* (Metallic Purple) and Trafalgar Square (Silver Chrome)*.

I went for Houses Of Parliament with Trafalgar on the ring finger. Just as with the FashionistA nail polishes you apply to coats and whilst the second one is still wet you must hold the magnet over the nail polish and wait 15seconds for it to do its magic!

In my previous post I said that I really was not a fan of magnetic nail polishes but in fact I do quite like these. I think they look much better than the Fashionista on as the colours are prettier, more interesting and the end result with the magnet is clearer and more attractive!

Don’t forget you can use the magnet both horizontally or vertically over the nail.

I also tried adding the Nail Inc Matte Top Coat to see what difference it would make and it makes them look a little more 3D but there is very little difference overall.

Some of the Nail Inc Girls were wearing this beautiful glitter top coat called Electric Lane Top Coat which I completely can not wait to try! It looks amazing!

The magnetic nail polish retails for £13 but I do feel it is worth the extra money if you do like the end effect.

What do you think of magnetic nail polish?

i've always been curious to try matte top coats but can't quite decide if i like them! do you think it's a must for a nail polish collection? and i really like the vertical magnetic stripe! i'd only seen the horizontal one before.

I like the look of magnetic nail polishes better than the crackle ones, but I don't know if I would wear them regularly – maybe on one nail? The glitter polish is gorgeous!

I'm still loving the crackle ones, no matter what anyone says. 🙂 Last season or this season, shouldn't really matter. Not that I don't like the magnetic look, it's kinda hypnotic. Still, the best one in my opinion is glitter nail polish 😀 You all can disagree as much as you like 😉

I remember your last post about them and that I was disappointed by the result (and the price). Now it looks so much better that I'll think about buying these ones! 🙂 I like the London-themed names too! X

I found that the magnetic polish chipped easily compared to normal nails inc polishes, but it might have been a one off. i still love it though!
