Removing Glitter Nail Polish

I have currently been loving glittery nail polish either on the tips of my nails, on a single nail or just all over but the one thing that puts me of using glittery nail polish is removing it. This post might in fact be telling a lot of you something you already know but just in case some of you don’t I thought it would be worth sharing how I remove my glitter nail polish.
All you need is
Cotton wool
Tin foil
Nail polish remover

Sorry about the picture quality

Start by soaking a little bit of the cotton wool in nail polish remover, don’t add too much as this will make a mess instead do just a small section big enough to cover your nail.
Place it over your nail a press it down, cut a piece of tin foil and wrap the top of your fingers still with the cotton wool inside. The point of the cotton wool is simply to hold the cotton wool in place.
Squeeze the tin foil tight and leave to soak for 3-5 minutes.

When removing hold the tip of the tin foil which is on top of your nail, squeeze tightly, wiggle and pull off.
You will them be left with perfect nails with no glitter and no nail polish.

This technique is much faster in the long run and far less stressful then having to watch your cotton wool pad get stuck to the glitter on your nails.

Do you have any tips for removing glittery nail polish?

SUCH a great tip! Thank you. I adore glitter polish but have stopped wearing it lately purely because of the hassle of removing it and the fact that I'm getting through a huge amount of nail polish remover. Thanks for this. Cannot wait to try! Wondering whether clingfilm would work, too, to keep the cotton pad in place…
