Over Christmas I got a Gosh set which had the Extreme 2 Step Volume Mascara in it, I was actually going to give it away but I remember that one of my friends always raves about two step mascara. In the past I have tried them and not quite got on with them, it takes me long enough to apply one set mascara let alone two! However most of all I hate the sometime you can see the white coat which is underneath, but onto the review…
The brush on both sides of the mascara is normal size average mascara brush which I was quite happy to see, the size makes the mascara easy and quick to apply.
Step one
I was left with white lashes which didn’t look much thicker and only a little longer….
Step two
My lashes look much thicker and longer however I was still disappointed. Before apply mascara I always curl my lashes however this really didn’t hold the curl at all, making my lashes almost instantly straight! Although it did add volume my lashes were crispy and flaky which always gets really uncomfortable towards the end of the day.
Overall, this mascara deliver what it claims to, thicker lashes however for me the fact it doesn’t hold a curl means my eyes don’t look as open as I like and the dryness of the products gets uncomfortable once it begins to flake.
Gosh is available from Superdrugs
Have you tried any Gosh mascaras?

The lashes do look good, really thick, but I wear contacts and I'm always touching my eyes so there would be flakes everywhere by the time I had finished! Plus I don't think I'm patient enough for 2 steps. Your pictures are so lovely and clear, mascara can be a pain to photograph! :-)x
Yeah I totally agree that it does take too long for two steps. Photographin lashes is always hard, especially as my camera likes to focus more on my nose haha
I have tried these types of mascaras before and they do tend to flake a lot, definitely not designed for prolonged wear!

Im not a fan of the two step mascaras and if it can't hold a curl then it really is a NOT gunna happen with me. Thanks for the review 🙂

Yeah i wouldn't buy it if it ran out either, youre welcome for the review 🙂 X
One thing I hate the most about two step mascaras are that all of the ones I've tried flake and make my lashes feel crunchy. IO really like Maybelline Full n' Soft mascara but I'm not sure if It's available in the UK. It wasnLt there the last time I checked superdrug. 🙁

I actually picked up Full n' Soft from Savers a while back if that helps X
I'm also not a fan of two step mascaras, your lashes do look great though but I can't stand flakiness! xx
I hate flaky mascara's as i wear glasses so my lens magnifys the flakiness so ill defiantly stay away from this.

I always wanted to try a 2 step mascara but I'm not sure I will bother. To be honest though your eyelashes are lovely and thick already! Very pretty xx
