Mavala Sublime Autumn 2013: Manicure Monday

The new(ish) Mavala collection contains six new shades of nail polish inspired by the muted tones of the 40’s. They’re all the sort of shade that goes with every item in your autumn/winter wardrobe and adds an elegant feel to your nails. The new shades are Twilight Blue, Espresso, Warm Grey, Ivory Beige, Poetic Rose and Amethyst.
Poetic Rose is the only shade from the range which I would say I don’t like, it is described as a smokey rose but to me it’s the most dated colour from the collection. Ivory Beige is a beautiful beige shade which is still very popular in the nail world along with Warm Grey which although is grey manages to still look elegant. Espresso is a beautiful dark brown which I actually love as an alternative to black.

My favourite colour from the whole collection is Twilight Blue which is the most unusual colour from the six as it’s a grey toned blue. I also think I would get lots of wear from Amethyst which would look beautiful throughout the autumn.

Overall they all applied beautifully and I am impressed with the collection. I love Mavala nail polishes as they are great quality but only retail for £4 as you get smaller bottles but how often do we finish a nail polish anyway?

Have you tried Mavala Polishes?

I lobe the size of these Mavala polishes – like you say how often do you ever finish a bottle of polish!
The darker colours are really pretty, esp Amethyst and the blue colour, I like the look of those

I love Mavala polishes, but there is only one drugstore that stocks them nearby. Those shades are lovely, Twilight BLue reminds me of one of the Nails Inc Coke collection, I think the name was denim, I really liked this one, but lost it while moving 🙁
