It’s no secret that I do love a good Manicure Monday theme and since Halloween has officially passed I’m sharing some glitter polishes to celebrate Bonfire Night! I had a look around and grabbed my super glittery Models Own Velvet Goth Nail polishes. The Velvet Goth collection is made up of 5 matte glitter polishes of which I have four (there is also a black one). They apply glossy but dry to a matte finish which is a little textured but not too gritty. The bottles also come with the limited edition velvet lids which is quite fun although I don’t also think velvet feels great. The glitter is densely packed and I find the matte finish makes them very unique but if you are not usually a matte fan you can easily apply a glossy top coat.

I applied two coats of each polish and found them to be quite opaque. I think these are a great buy as they are very versatile as a top coat makes such a difference! Absinthe and Amethyst would work beautifully with a topcoat for Christmas!
