4 Tips for Burning Candles

1. Always trim the wick to 0.5cm to allow for a cleaner burn
2. Burn the candle for a minimum of an hour and allow a full molten wax pool to form
3. Never burn for more than four hours
If it’s a wider candle you’ll need to burn for longer to avoid tunnelling.
4. Snuffing the candle (with the lid or a candle snuffer) is less likely to disturb the candle than blowing.

Great tips (and candle collection!). I was wondering when say burn the candle for a minimum of one hour do you mean the first time you burn the candle or always?

Great tips. I always try to burn the candle to a full pool before snuffing it, so it burns evenly. I don't really like to snuff it with the lid though, as the soot stains it.
