I must admit I have been struggling with nail polishes recently. I am so fed up of boring winter colours but feel it’s a little too early to bring out all my pastel polishes which is why I went with this blue from Nail Inc.
It’s a super glossy perfect blue which applies well with two thin coats and last a good 4 days (which for me is good) Mercer Street is a new addition to their Gel Effect line and is part of the SS14 collection. At £14 it isn’t a cheap one but a good quality polish which is actually quite versatile and a great seasonal transition colour.

These sound good but they're so expensive! I have my eyes on Porchester Square so maybe I will give that one a go.

The only thing I've wondered with these "gel" polishes that have no topcoat/basecoat accompanying them is how different can they truly be from the regular formula? I will say the color is gorgeous though! Like you said, a perfect transition.

That's a gorgeous color- I've never tried this brand before. I have been using neutrals lately because I think it kind of reflects my most current mood: mellow and a bit stressed (thanks to college life). 🙂
