This month saw the launch of Butter London’s most recent nail polish collections inspired by London’s Brick Lane. The collection, made up of six colours, was influenced by the textures, colours and artful spontaneity which is seen everyday on Brick Lane in the form of exotic spices, street art and individual experimentation.
I have some mini’s which are absolutely perfect as I very very rarely finish a whole 10ml of nail polish (and they look cute.) They fit somewhat into the current chrome nail trend which we have seen going around but on a very wearable level.
Chocka is a very dark purple, almost black, which has a metallic finish. Cor Blimey is a dark purple with a shimmer but dries to a matte satin finish which makes this polish very unusual. I used two coats of both polish, they applied opaque and dried quickly.
I haven’t yet tried Bric-a-brac which is a red with gold glitter as I’m saving that one for closer to Christmas.
