Confessions of a Beauty Blogger

1. I’ve never worn acrylic nails as I am lucky enough to have quite strong nails.
2. I hate shaving my legs in winter
3.  I love fake tan and I don’t think being too dark is really a problem (as long as it isn’t orange)
4.  I rarely use body lotion as I just find it time consuming and boring (but I am trying to change!)
5. I have never tried any Bobbi Brown products. (until today hopefully- more on that soon)
6. I hate washing my brushes and instead have lots so I don’t have to however this makes the washing process so much longer!
7. I once applied hair removal cream thinking it was a moisturiser before a night out.
8. Visiting the MAC counter/store still scares me but I have no problem on other counters/stores.

9. I have attachment issues so my makeup collection is shockingly large.
10. When I was younger I painted my nails every single, single day for about 2 years.
11. I absolutely hate doing my own eye brows (as the photo above proves)
12. I once came home from school wearing a foundation I had borrowed from one of my mixed race friends, it was about 6 shades too dark and the worst look ever.
I’d love to hear your confessions below in the comments.

I used to wear a foundation that was about 3 shades too dark for me and didn't see a problem with it until I was about 16! I also used to wear a brown/black eyebrow pencil when my hair was blonde. I cringe just thinking about it!
    This is a great post.

I love the idea of this post!! Nice to find out little things that you didn't know before. I swear by acrylic nails just because mine are rubbish and break all the time 🙁 xo

I always end up getting a wrong shade of foundation (can't match myself very well) then I keep the wrong shades just in case! You know, just in case I can mix them up etc.

When I first started using makeup I'd always wear loads and loads of foundation that was at least 2 shades too dark for me, I don't know why no one told me how ridiculous I looked! x

Oh no the hair removal cream! I don't think being dark is a problem, as long as it suits someone. You have dark traits naturally (and me too) so it suits us luckily!

I'm with you on number 1. I have a really bad habit of picking the skin around my nails, though, and sometimes I wonder if the money and effort put into getting my nails done would deter me!

The hair removal cream before a night out is probably one of the funniest things I've heard in a while! Great post xx

I also get scared going into MAC I just find it quite unwelcoming a lot of the time. I've never had acrylic nails either, I'm glad too! My confession would probably be I don't fill my eyebrows in luckily I have a fringe and they're pretty full anyway xo
