That Palette…

They say you always want what you can’t have which
is probably why I have been dreaming about the LORAC Pro palette ever since I
saw it pop up on all my favourite American YouTubers videos.

Lorac is a brand which we can’t get over in the UK so I was naturally very
excited when I saw it was available on the Labelle UK website.

When it first arrived I realized just how
thin it was but still quite long and houses 16 shades. I love the mixture of
mattes and shimmers with eight of each and I think they have done an excellent
job of proving light, medium and dark shades meaning you can really create any
look you want from a natural day look to a full on smokey eye. It also has a
great mixture of brown, burnt reds and greys- all the wearable shades I would
want.
That said I still wasn’t convienced it was
much better than the Urban Decay Naked Palettes but as soon as I tried it I was
impressed by the pigmentation and creaminess which is as good if not better than my Naked Palettes.
You probably don’t need it if, like me, you
already have all three Naked Palettes and lots of other neutral palettes but if you don’t
than I would probably recommend trying to get your hands on this one first before the Naked Palette as I
think it’s a little more versatile.
I think this will become my go-to travel
palette over my Urban Decay Naked Original simply because it has more
eyeshadows, a beautiful range of colour and I haven’t used another palette since getting this one.

If you too have been dreaming of this
palette for a while but have no trips to America planned than check out the Labelle website before it sells out.

I love this palette! It's such a good mix of colours and definitely on par with the Naked palettes. The Pro 2 is also fab – not sure if you can get it via that website or not, but well worth looking out for x

I bought mine from Amazon.com last year for £36 posted to the UK including all taxes. It arrived in a week and is still available from there.

I love the look of this palette, I always hear such wonderful reviews about it. The colours are right up my street. I just wish it was easier to get hold of in the UK

This is such a stunning palette and was my substitute for the UD Naked palettes before they launched here in Australia! I think it has the perfect balance of shades and the pigmentation is unbelievable.

this palette has been a staple of mine for years, it's absolutely gorgeous. i'm so mad that lorac doesn't offer mauve as a single, it's my most used shade!

I'm loving Sable and Garnet, so pretty. I'm loyal to my Urban Decay palette but there's definitely more of a variety with colours in the Lorac palette. I'm from the UK too and always have trouble buying from America!

I have been dying to try Lorac for so long – I am waiting for the Unzipped eyeshadow palette from Amazon US so I hope I love it! I might have to pick this one up next time if all goes smoothly xx

We can't get Lorac here in Canada either, so I've been living without this palette. I know once I eventually get it, I'll be like: "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?" lol

I do reach for my Pro Palettes over my Naked Palettes 95% of the time. The pigment is better and the texture feels so much nicer! Glad you finally got your hands on it. 🙂

What a perfect title for this blog post! I had dreamed about this palette for a long time, but if you get your hands on the makeup revolution iconic pro palettes, they are dupes so you don't need to spend the money on this one!
