I usually go for either eyes or lips but I think one wash over the eye can still work with a bright lip. For this I went for Topshop’s Mono Eyeshadow in Explorer, £5 a beautiful burgundy brown which I buffed all over the eyelid and ran lightly under the eye. I chose to not contour my eyes and instead went for a good coating of 3D Curve mascara, £10 and a thin liquid line.
As my brows are naturally very dark I try not too pencil them in too much but need a product that will keep them in place. I used the Topshop Brow Fixer brown shade to fill in sparser areas and the wax to keep them in place.
In order to keep the skin quite natural I chose two cream products, the glow stick to add a little colour and shape to the face as well as Glow Highlighter in Polished, £9. I love Glow Highlighter, it’s such a beautiful yet quite natural highlight which is easy to apply, even with finger tips.
Although I had never tried an Ombre Lip, the Topshop Lip Ombre in Astound, £9 made it all very easy, I applied the darker colour with a brush and patted on the lighter colour into the middle of my lip simply using my finger. I feel in love with the colours, the effect it gave and I was surprised that it lasted all evening.
