This was obviously coming- Halloween Manicure Monday is finally here! I came up with a few different nail ideas using a dotting tool, a few striping polishes and just normal nail polishes. They’re nothing amazing but are pretty affective, easy to do and you can mix and match them with a few of your better ideas.
All the designs are on top of the Morgan Taylor White polish which I would highly recommend as being on the best white polishes I have tried!
This is probably my personal least favourite although boys seem to thing this one is particularly cool. Start by using a dotting tool for the main body of the spider before adding its lets using either a striping brush or nail pen. I then added the dots to make it look a little more interesting but that’s optional.
2) Bloody Nails
Add a red tip to the nail like you would for a french manicure and then using a dotting tool add the tips of the blood before joining it to the red tip. You can use a variety of dotting tool sizes and add a few dot which aren’t connected to the top.
3) Spider Web
Start with the lines coming from a corner of the nails which you can draw using a pen although I think it’s easy enough with a thin striping brush. You will then need to carefully join these lines using more curved lines.
4) Pumpkin nails
Add an orange rounded tip before adding the green with a dotting tool, to make it look even more impressive use a striping tool and either a darker or lighter orange.
Use a black nail polish to dot on eyes and a mouth before adding the white polish for pupils.
Which nail is your favourite? Have you had a go at Halloween Nail Art?
