It wouldn’t be another holiday without me sharing an inspired Manicure Monday would it?! I shared three of my favourites from other bloggers on Saturday but today I really wanted to recreate something that although was very much inspired isn’t too overly ‘Valentine’s day.’
I had seen a design similar to this all over the internet and I just love how simple but affective it is. The colours are great and I love the almost love heart design too. All you need to do to recreate this is start with a base colour (I went with Barry M Gelly Dragon Fruit) and once that is dry paint the middle layer by working your brush from the outside corners into the middle of the nail with the curve (I used Nailtiques in Tahiti available at Urban Retreat) and then repeat in your final darkest colour(Barry M Red Wine)
To create this you will need to make sure that your top two colours are great quality as it is hard to apply more than a coat.
Will you be going for a Valentine’s Day inspired nail this week?

Pretty colours. Love how you can transform it with others so it's not just Valentine's day.
So pretty! Really liked the three colours (all together or even separate!) and how it turned out. Well done!

Ahh I absolutely love this! I might have to try it myself, I love the idea of themed nails to match an occasion but I like when they're not so in-your-face and obvious 🙂
