I hope you all had a great weekend and are enjoy 2013 so far!
Over the last few days I have been wearing my nails a little different and it is actually inspired by a picture I saw somewhere on the internet. I don’t personally really like traditional french manicure’s too much any more and thing this is a nice, fun take one it. After applying a natural nail nude I applied a grey colour to the tips as if it were a french manicure. After that was all dry I used a glitter from the middle of the nail to the tip concentrating it in the centre of the nail and using little around the edges.
It was super easy to do but seemed to prove very popular on Instagram! I’d recommend using a glitter that isn’t too concentrated I used Mavala Sparkling silver for this one but some of the Barry M glitters would work well too.
Why not try it in another colour too? What have you been wearing on your nails recently?

On Instagram you said that they were gel nails. its that a gel coating over your natural nails or do you also have false once on then gel?

Just double checked my Intagram, thought I'd made a mistake but I didn't say there were gels. I've never worn gels and these are my real nails, there is a few layers of top coat on it though. Seche Vite, that's why there is a good shine.
